At West Bend we are excited to be part of a growing, Spirit-filled collaborative youth ministry called P3. Named after Bishop Larry Goodpaster's "Power of 3" program for the Western NC Annual Conference, our youth (P3 for short) program is entering its second exciting year. Made up of youth, parents, volunteers, and pastors from West Bend UMC, New Hope UMC, and New Union UMC (all in Asheboro), we are able to do things together that would not be possible individually. In this spirit of cooperation, the three churches share in the planning, leadership, and resourcing of this group.

Mission Trip through the Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville, NC
